Child uses sleeping mom's fingerprints to buy Pokemon gifts

The Howell's thought they were hacked, but it turns out their daughter told them she went "shopping".

When Bethany looked at her Amazon account the next day, she was shocked to see the charge and immediately assumed she had been hacked, The Daily Mail says.

"'Well, Santa found out and that is what Santa is going to bring you for Christmas".

"She is really proud of herself", Ms Howell added. She just grabbed her mother's thumb and pressed it to the phone while she slept on the couch.

She proceeded to use her mother's fingerprint to pay for Pokemon toys online.

It's no wonder a young child would think nothing of using a phone to customize their Christmas wish list.

As for mom, we bet she'll be sleeping with phone in her pocket from now on.
