A 20-year-old woman was allegedly raped in the national capital late on Thursday night by a man posing as a cab driver, reports said.
The woman from Noida had come to Delhi looking for a job and while she was waiting for a bus near AIIMS, the accused offered her a lift last evening, police said. It is alleged that around 11 PM to midnight near Moti Bagh area, the driver molested the 20-year-old and raped her.
The PCR van took the victim to the police station and a medical check up was conducted.
The driver then allegedly drove her around the city - RK Puram, Chanakyapuri, India Gate and then back to Dhaula Kuan - and when the woman asked him about the roundabout route, he refused to answer.

Rekha said the suspect was a driver for a member of India's elite paramilitary Central Industrial Security Force.
"The professional combing of the area led the police to the suspect's vehicle that was parked at a distance of almost 100 metres from the location initially narrated by the complainant, along with two or three other cars in the nearby jhuggi", he said.
He told the police that his son had given the auto to the accused a week ago on rent. The personnel heard her out and without losing time. The operation was once again resumed after her medical examination was over at around 5.30 am on Thursday.
Official figures show 2,199 rapes were reported in Delhi in 2015, up from 706 in 2012, although police attribute the rise to more people coming forward. The police then traced the owner based on the car's registration number to Kotla Mubarakpur in South Delhi.

The 30-year-old driver, identified as Aman, is a resident of the Moti Bagh slums in south Delhi. "The accused was later located in a jhuggi at Moti Bagh (South) area where he was about to begin drinking with a friend", added Upadhayay.
Later, keeping in mind the importance of forensic and biological evidence in such cases, experts from Regional Forensic Science Laboratory (RFSL) were requisitioned and a thorough search and inspection of the vehicle was carried out.
