Senate hearings for Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch to begin March 20

Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., may have shared a few laughs on Thursday with U.S. Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch, but he walked away with concerns about the judge's candidacy for the high court. Typically, hearings for Supreme Court nominees last several days, and several weeks may elapse between the conclusion of a hearing and the committee's vote on a nominee, making the prospect of an early-April floor vote unlikely. Jon Tester to strongly oppose Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch. The hearings will include statements from committee members followed by Gorsuch responding to questions and then outside testimony, including representation from the American Bar Association.

But some Republicans are already predicting that Gorsuch will get confirmed.
