We had an idea that the carrier wanted all of those content-providing subsidiaries, and now it's clear. Last month, AT&T started including a free year of HBO if you signed up for DirecTV Now - but this deal sounds even better as it seems you'll have access to the channel as long as you keep the unlimited plan on your account. Current HBO customers who also sign up for the wireless plan will see the expense for the channel eliminated. After this credit, AT&T Unlimited Plus customers can get DIRECTV Select package for $25 a month or DIRECTV NOW Live a Little package for $10 a month. "Our customers want wireless entertainment on their terms, and we're going to deliver", said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Entertainment Group.
