President Trump's Adviser Sebastian Gorka to Leave the White House

Sebastian Gorka, a former counter-terrorism analyst for fox news channel, who had joined the administration of President Donald Trump as a counter-terrorism adviser, will be leaving the white house in the coming days, according to a senior administration official. He will take a job at a federal agency dealing with "the war of ideas" surrounding the battle against radical Islamic terrorism, two sources speaking on the condition of anonymity told the Washington Examiner on Sunday.

At the time Gorka denied he was a member, saying he wore the medal "to remind myself of where I came from, what my parents suffered under both the Nazis and the Communists, and to help me in my work today".

CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta later tweeted that he had confirmed the report.

The official did not offer details on where Gorka, a member of the White House's Strategic Initiatives Group, would head to next, but the person said the departure would not be immediate.

Its Oil Sands segment includes the development and production of bitumen and natural gas in northeast Alberta. The company also recently disclosed a quarterly dividend, which will be paid on Friday, June 30th.

Sebastian Gorka participates in a discussion during the Conservative Political Action Conference at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, in National Harbor, Maryland, Feb. 24, 2017.

NBC News' Kristen Welker, Alexander Smith, and Dafna Linzer reported Monday from their own source that Gorka's transition from the White House was not officially decided yet, but a plan had been discussed, and that the current-National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster was not utilizing him in an official capacity.

An official told the Examiner that the former Breitbart News editor had been in a "holding pattern" at SIG while he waited for the new job.

Last month, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-New York) urged the White House to provide the House Judiciary Committee with Gorka's immigration documents for review.

Overnight explosion rocks Damascus; Syrian government blames Israel
However, Channel1iba's Amichai Stein reported multiple military personnel were killed in the strike. Hezbollah is an avowed enemy of Israel, and the two sides fought a monthlong war in 2006.

The Washington Examiner did not provide further details about the new position, save that it will not be in the State Department. In early April, Trump's controversial strategist Steve Bannon, lost his seat on the National Security Council.

When questioned, Trump Spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders reportedly said there was "nothing" to announce about Gorka.

Gorka, who doesn't appear to do a whole lot within the administration, is allegedly an expert in counterterrorism, and that's where his services will theoretically be applied.
