Anthony Scaramucci cites Trump as his anonymous source who questioned Russian hacking

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Anthony Scaramucci told host Chris Wallace he was willing to enforce hardline reforms of the White House's communications department - and would even be willing to "pare down the staff".

But the president's continued wavering is bound to frustrate the intelligence community, which concluded in January that Russian president Vladimir Putin ordered the interference himself.

"In all fairness to Anthony Scaramucci, he wanted to endorse me 1st, before the Republican Primaries started, but didn't think I was running!"

During an interview on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday, Scaramucci first told host Jake Tapper that he'd recently spoken to someone who assured him that if Russia had been behind the hacks of the Democratic National Committee and John Podesta last year―as multiple US intelligence agencies have concluded―then nobody would have ever known about it, because the Russians are so good at it.

Scaramucci concluded his 2016 column writing, "Democracy is a device that ensures the people shall be governed no better than they deserve. So if I'm for something and then I'm against something then all of a sudden I'm a hypocrite", he said during the Sunday morning interview on CNN's "State of The Union". He said Trump would make up his own mind in time and that if Trump believed Russian Federation was responsible for the 2016 efforts and a threat to future elections, he would act.

Dems read Trump Jr.'s emails on House floor
It is hoped that a breakthrough can be reached soon, with Democrats hoping to water down the language enough for them to be able to pass it.

Trump appears to be trying to revive his organization in an attempt to break out of a prolonged funk that has to a great extent wasted the first six months of his term - a time when presidents are usually at the apex of their power.

Scaramucci's revelation arrived shortly after Trump himself criticized "sources" circulating in "fake media".

"The politicians don't want to go at Trump because he's got a mouth and they're afraid he will light them up on Fox News". We're strong as our weakest leak, ' Scaramucci said.

"There's obviously a communications problem", Scaramucci said.

"How about - how about it was the President, Jake?" he said.

The Washington Post reported Thursday that Trump had asked his legal team about the pardoning authority, and whether he could use it on himself. She's incredibly authentic, and what I told Sarah on Friday is you take the big office ...

The website Quote Investigator looked into Scaramucci's tweet and determined that the quote is a changed-over-time variation of lyrics from the song "Come From the Heart", co-written by Susanna Clark and Richard Leigh.

"He hasn't made the decision yet to sign that bill one way or the other" should it be sent to him, he said. "The President is not going to have to pardon anybody because the Russian thing is a nonsensical thing".

"The President is thinking about pardoning nobody", Scaramucci said.

He declined to say whether the president will sign the bill Congress is considering that would place new sanctions on Russian Federation.

Thank John McCain's surgery for delay in health care vote
McCain isn't expected to return to the Senate for at least one full week, maybe two, so a vote won't happen until then. Just last month, a vote on an earlier version of the bill had to be cancelled in the face of possible defeat.

"You've got to ask President Trump that", Scaramucci said. On Saturday, House and Senate negotiators announced an agreement on the bill.
