Hero Asia Cup: India beat Pakistan 4-0 in Super Four match

Dhaka: A clinical India maintained their unbeaten run in the tournament with a 6-2 thrashing of Malaysia in their second Super 4 match of the 10th men's Asia Cup here on Thursday. It was Gurjant Singh in the 33rd minute followed by a splendid goal by SV Sunil brilliantly-assisted by Gurjant Singh who worked in tandem to score India's fifth goal.

The win propelled India to the top of Super 4 stage after they drew 1-1 against Korea yesterday. India will now play either defending champions South Korea or Malaysia. Gurjant Singh completed the last rites for Pakistan as the Indians by the 57th minute of the match were leading 4-0 that left Pakistan with little much to do other than accept defeat. India topped the pool stage with wins over Japan, hosts Bangladesh and Pakistan.
