Woman says Harvey Weinstein assaulted her in NYC

With her attorney Gloria Allred at her side, former production assistant Mimi Hayleyi described an alleged sexual assault that happened inside Weinstein's NY home a couple of years after she said she rebuffed his advances and accepted a job.

Allred on Wednesday in NY held her second press conference in two days unveiling another woman claiming Weinstein sexually assaulted her. Actress Natassia Malthe told reporters that Weinstein barged into her London hotel room late at night in 2010, removed his trousers, began masturbating and then forced himself on her. Malthe says, "It was not consensual".

Authorities in Los Angeles, London and NY are investigating allegations against Weinstein, 65.

The young woman said she tried to shoot down Weinstein's repeated sexual advances by telling him she was menstruating, but he eventually overpowered her and shoved her onto a bed in his child's bedroom.

When he returned from Paris, Weinstein asked her to meet at his loft apartment in Soho. "I would not have wanted anyone to do that to me, even if that person had been a romantic partner". "I had never worked with Harvey Weinstein, and I was absolutely devastated by this news".

Allred represents a number of women who are accusing Weinstein of harassment or sexual assault.

"It is one thing to talk about what happened and it's great we are all talking about it, but the only way we are really going to have change, is to hold these companies financially accountable".

"Based on what I know now, I believe that I participated in making what I now know to be untrue and provably false allegations against you", Herman wrote in a letter to Ancier and Neuman.

"It was, therefore, a real shock when Harvey proceeded to put his hand on my thigh at dinner during the opening night of Great Raid, at which both my boyfriend and my brother were present", Nielsen recalled. "I didn't think at that time that enough people were sharing their stories".

The Times later reported harassment allegations from Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, and The New Yorker reported that three women have accused Weinstein of rape.
